a) What new technologies can enable us to effectively map high-level descriptions of a computation to low-level implementations?
b) What requirements do these technologies impose on the high-level specification of the computation?
c) How much control should programmers have in the mapping process and how should they exercise this control?
d) What is the role of library writers in this process?
